Online banking is super convenient, especially after 5 or on a Sunday!
Just as a refresher, here are a few tips if you use online banking:
1: Make sure to use an encrypted website starting with HTTPS.
Example: https://www.banknh.com/
2: Public wi-fi is not secure and is well, public. Anyone can use it!
If you use public wi-fi add a VPN, Virtual Private Network for a more secure network.
3: Use 2 Factor Authentication where if possible
With this way you have a user name and password, then on another device you get a code to verify it’s you.
4: Monitor you account and report anything that looks off to your bank, even if it’s a penny!
Hackers will try charging a small amount before larger ones making it important to keep an eye on your account!
5: Sign up for alerts from your bank
