According to the FTC, Federal Trade Commission, there was a breach of Equifax, one of the top three credit reporting bureaus in the US! Over 143 million will be or have been affected by this breach!
According to Equifax the breach lasted between mid-May thru July and the hackers responsible were able to get social security numbers, birth dates, addresses and some driver’s licenses numbers. They were also able to get hold of credit cards numbers for over 200 thousand people!
